When creating a PECB Store account, you provide us information which can personally identify you such as your full name, email address, country, and state information. Information we collect helps us complete your registration process and identify you as a user of our website.
In addition to the personal information mentioned above, if you register for a vendor account we also collect your company’s information such as name, phone number, company license, postcode, physical address, and business license.
PECB operates with data minimization principles and collects only personal information necessary to complete your registration. In cases when users do not provide enough information categorized as necessary, we will not be able to validate your registration.
If you subscribe to receive shopping deals from PECB Store, we collect your full name and email address for the sole purpose to provide you with marketing information in regard to the PECB services.
Live Chat support line
We support our clients via the Live Chat support line available on the website. If you use the Live Chat service, we will collect your name, email address and the content of your Live Chat session. This information will be retained for three years and will not be shared with other parties. Live Chat logs are continually monitored for quality improvement.
Telephone support line
When you call PECB's support-line we collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We use this information to help improve our services’ efficiency and effectiveness. PECB holds the information necessary to fulfill callers’ requests, opening a ticket in the system, and processes regarding the ticket until the finalization of the procedure. This information provided through the ticketing system is reviewed and if applicable deleted on an annual basis.
We use third party providers such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube to manage our social media interactions.

Microsoft 365 (Outlook) is another service we use for email exchanging and Cloud Data Backup. We use Microsoft 365 because it complies with several information security requirements, including, but not limited to, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, and the EU-GDPR. Microsoft 365 offers encryption of data at rest that includes files stored in cloud service, and encryption of data in transit that includes exchanged email messages or conversations that are taking place in a meeting.
Microsoft 365, uses several technologies, and strong encryption protocols, that include Internet Protocol Security (IPSec), Transport Layer Security/Secure Sockets Layer (TLS/SSL), and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). We do not guarantee encryption to the recipients of our emails. Therefore, ensuring encryption in your end is your sole responsibility.
When purchasing products from PECB Store, customers are required to provide their billing address and payment card details before proceeding with the payment. Payments are processed by a third-party service called Global Payments. The information provided during the payment process is not stored in the PECB Store system, the information is only passed on to Global Payment for the sole purpose of completing the payment process initiated by the customer. Please keep in mind that we do not delete all of your information when requested, due to legal obligations, such as the financial transactions evidence. If you processed any payments with us a copy of the receipt will be stored encrypted in our system.
